Laboratoire des Sciences Cognitives et Psycholiguistique (LSCP)
The LSCP is an UMR CNRS-ENS-EHESS.
The aim of research at LSCP is to understand the psychological mechanisms underlying the acquisition and functioning of
cognitive functions that are typically human, such as language, social cognition, and consciousness.
The LSCP is organized into four research teams:
1. Language and its acquisition
2. Computational mechanisms of cognitive development
3. Cognitive development and pathology
4. Brain and consciousness
Across these themes, members of the LSCP use a common approach that integrates several techniques,
in particular cognitive psychology in human infants, children and adults, as well as brain imaging, neuropsychology, and modelling.
